Looking for some inspiration. Below is a directory of popular cycling routes around Lancashire all departing from Croston Sports Club, feel free to use and download.
2021 Summer Weekday routes – For 2021 the club will have 10 set routes (For A and B Groups) for the Tuesday and Thursday rides which are titled CV SUM21 #1 – CV SUM20 #10, each title is followed by either AC if the route goes anti clockwise or C if clockwise. Each Tuesday and Thursday a route will be published via the clubs social media.
New for 2021 we will also have 10 set C Group rides which are slightly shorter so people can be aware of the plan for the evening and it ensures the group arrives back at similar times. Please find there below the A/B groups routes on this page
Please can we ask that where possible you download the routes to your GPS device as the more members that have the routes the easier and safer the navigation is, if you download them all at the start of the season it saves you downloading a seperate one each week.

Winter Routes
On a Tuesday evening one of three routes will be selected (Winter CV2, CV3 or CV4) depending upon the weather conditions on the evening.
On a Thursday we will stick to one route throughout the winter season Winter CV1 until spring.
This year for each route we have also completed a risk assessment to identify some of the key risks and actions required to minimise these. Please ensure you read these everyones safety. Please note the roads are a very dynamic enviroment and these do not cover all risks, as usually please be sensible and aware of your surroundings and adjust ride speeds to suit the conditions. We will shortly publish a reminder on winter riding etiquette to support with this.
